Hole 4 - Mike Morrissey - March 2010
"I will always remember the circumstances of eventually looking in the hole to find my ball.
Distance was 174 metres and I hit a 6 iron between the line of the pin and the bunkers on the left.
We were not able to see my ball go in the hole from the tee.
When we reached the green there were 3 balls on the putting surface and none were mine.
I looked in the two bunkers on the back left of the green. No ball. I then walked to the back of the green thinking I must have gained some strength with all the wonderful food and wine I had consumed during the week. No ball at the back of the green.
I then decided to look in the hole and as I approached and saw the little thing lying there peacefully, I immediately called to my playing partners to check to let me know I was seeing correctly."
